By train: the C1, about 45 minutes
The Cercanías C1 line runs from Málaga Centro-Alameda, through María Zambrano station and the airport, to Fuengirola, which is the last stop. From the city centre the ride takes about 45 minutes; from Málaga Airport about 30–35 minutes. Trains run every 20 minutes on weekdays and every 30 minutes at weekends.

By taxi or car: about 30–35 minutes
Fuengirola is about 30 km from Málaga along the A-7. A taxi or your own car takes around 30–35 minutes, depending on traffic.
